I'm sitting here, eating popcorn, and watching some of the New Year's Eve celebrations on tv. I can't believe we have made another trip around the sun and that tomorrow is 2023. I can't wait to see what the new year will bring. Here is my monthly wrap-up of some of the things I was up to in the month of December.
What I'm watching:
I finally had a chance to watch Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery on Netflix. I loved it. I loved the characters, I loved the mystery, I loved the clothes. It was such a fun watch. I also watched so many Hallmark Channel Christmas movies this month. I can't say if there is a favorite movie out of the bunch I watched, but there are definitely some that I would watch again next year.
What I'm eating:
I feel like I've put on 10 pounds from all of the candy I've eaten. I have eaten so many miniature Reese's peanut butter cups. I mean, they are my favorite candy and I've always thought that the miniature ones have the perfect ratio of chocolate to peanut butter. Throw in my two advent calendars that were full of candy and it's just been a month of eating chocolate. I might have to go on a candy detox in January.
What I'm blogging about:
This month I participated in blogmas, where I posted one blog post a day from December 1 through December 25. This was a big task and I can't believe I did it. I wrote more blog posts this month than I ever have in a month. In fact, including this post, I've written 29 posts for the month. That is a lot of words! I think I'm going to try it again next December but I'm going to start planning earlier. Ideally, I'd like to be more prepared than I was this month. But like I said, it was a lot of fun and it definitely challenged me.
